Up until a year ago, I had never refused a single vaccination when offered. However, as I have invested a considerable amount of personal effort to understand the events of the past 14 months, my personal understanding of issues related to vaccination has undergone a significant change. So significant in fact that my current position on vaccines in general is closer to the so called “ant-vaxx” camp than that of the mainstream. However, I refuse to utilize such pejoratively loaded terms that frame the discussion in black and white that are not only offensive but outright unscientific, as science, in its purest form, is not at all black and white, but rather constantly firmly resides in the grey spectrum of questions, hypotheses

  Vaccination Campaign in Prince Rupert, BC – A Peculiar Tale Questions to the BC Government     Summary   In December 2020 and January 2021, the governments across the world dispensed emergency use authorizations for Covid-19 vaccines. British Columbia, like the rest of Canada, originally behind on vaccine deliveries, made a concerted effort to vaccinate the residents of long-term care facilities (LTC) despite the lack of trial data for this patient cohort. Early vaccination rollout at LTC locations appeared to coincide with several outbreaks followed by abnormally high death counts. Any concerns that such startling statistics could be related to the vaccination campaign were dismissed. Covid-19 was determined to be the only possible cause. LTC vaccination campaigns were followed by mass vaccination clinics at selected locations across the province. The first three such clinics were completed by the middle of March 2021 in Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii and Upper Skeena Healt
